I Left My Heart in San Francisco

I was thrilled to participate in two terrific events this spring. One was at Lied Performing Arts  Table Inspirations event & the second was Symphony Guild Table Art event. The money raised by The Friends of Lied helps provide arts opportunities across the state, and that is something near and dear to my heart. I will post more pictures of my table in the near future. The theme for the table designs this year was, California Dreamin’, the title of my table was  “I Left my Heart in San Francisco”. I recieved Best of Omaha award.

I made the paper collar around the centerpiece from the sheet music, “I Left my Heart in San Francisco”.

My heart really is in San Francisco, my son, his wife and my new baby granddaughter all live in the Bay area. Working on this table all winter was a labor of love.

I designed the fabric for the tablecloth and napkins using cut paper designs. First a high DPI scan of the design, uploaded to Spoonflower, manipulated the image and they print the fabric and paper.
Very fun. www.spoonflower.com
