I created this flower arrangement for the Omaha Symphony Guild Table Art fundraiser, a not-for-profit group that funds music outreach to 30,000+ students in the metro area each year. I designed a table for their table art event, which this year is virtual, July 9-10. Each designer set up their table in their home or business then photographers were sent to video and take pictures of each table. Another part of my commitment was to create something using Waterford crystal, provided by Borsheims, to be auctioned in a silent auction. This arrangement is my contribution. I filled the vase with hundreds of buttons, layering them by color. I made the flowers out of vintage instrumental sheet music and vintage buttons. To finish it off I added Beethoven’s quote, “Music can change the world.”
